Makower UK Kindred Panel

Celebrate traditional, heritage-inspired design with the Kindred Panel from Makower UK. This quilting panel features eight ornate squares on a soft sage green background scattered with tiny white dots. The panel measures 61cm x 112cm (24" x 44"), and each square measures 10" (approx. 25cm), so the squares are easy to cut apart and use as ready-made quilt blocks.

The panel alternates elegant botanical motifs with intricate medallions. The botanical squares show a purple Scottish thistle, a cluster of green shamrocks, and stylised tulip-like blooms in deep burgundy and soft purple, each framed with decorative scrollwork. The four Celtic-inspired medallions are filled with paisley and fine filigree detail. Each square is finished with a patterned border in rich wine, plum, teal or mustard gold. This warm, traditional colour palette gives the panel a timeless, old-world charm.

This Celtic-style fabric panel is a lovely choice for anyone with Scottish or Irish heritage, or anyone who loves classic folk art and ornamental design. You could use the blocks as the centrepiece of a sampler quilt or add sashing and borders for a striking wall hanging. The squares also make a beautiful set of matching cushions, placemats or a table runner. Individual blocks work well for smaller projects too, such as tote bags, mug rugs, pot holders and framed textile art.

Whether you're an experienced quilter or looking for a quick and satisfying sewing project, the Makower UK Kindred Panel offers plenty of creative possibilities. Order yours online from Brown's Craft Shed today.
