Steeped in the folklore of the British Isles, this cream cotton print gathers together the emblems of Celtic legend in a beautifully detailed scattered design. Interlocking Celtic knots and knotwork hearts sit alongside majestic stags, a graceful swan, heraldic shields and golden crowns, while illuminated manuscript letters recall the hand-lettered pages of medieval abbeys. Thistles, roses, shamrocks and ferns fill the spaces between in deep forest green, wine burgundy, teal blue, plum purple and warm amber, all set against a softly mottled ivory ground.
Printed on quality 100% cotton by Makower UK, this fabric is smooth, easy to press and lovely to stitch, making it a dependable choice for patchwork, quilting and general sewing projects. The medium-scale motifs are well suited to feature squares and fussy cutting, and the neutral background keeps the busy design feeling light and easy to work with.
