Bring a touch of Victorian invention to your festive sewing with this striking border stripe from QT Fabrics' Steampunk Christmas collection. Printed on a soft cream ground, the design runs in decorative bands featuring a mechanical reindeer hauling a gear-fitted sleigh, a goggle-wearing Santa, a clockwork snowman rolling along on tyres, and a slender Christmas tree strung with cogs and baubles. Riveted borders in red and green, brass rings threaded with candy cane rods, and a gingerbread-and-holly garland complete the layout, with "It's a Steampunk Christmas" lettering woven through in red script.
This 100% cotton quilting fabric is smooth, easy to cut and lovely to stitch by hand or machine. The stripe layout is ideal for quilt borders and sashing, table runners, Christmas stockings, tote bags, cushion covers and wall hangings, letting you showcase whole scenes with minimal piecing.
A wonderful choice for quilters who like their Christmas with a little rust, brass and imagination.
