A riot of rainbow toadstools tumbles across a deep black background in this striking quilting cotton from Nutex, designed by Fiona Clarke. Hand-painted style mushrooms in every imaginable shade — sunshine yellow gills, hot pink caps flecked with lime, violet bonnets, teal spotted domes, coral chanterelles and ruffled amber brackets — are packed edge to edge, with tiny berry sprigs tucked between them. The dark ground makes each colour glow, giving the print an almost luminous, fairy-tale forest feeling.
This vibrant fungi print is a natural fit for statement quilts, feature panels and modern patchwork, and it works just as well for tote bags, dresses, aprons, cushion covers, table runners and children's craft projects.
