Step into an enchanted woodland with this whimsical cotton quilting fabric from Nutex, designed by Elena O'Neill. Set against a soft white background, delicate watercolour illustrations bring a fairy garden to life with red spotted toadstools, mint green and honey-toned mushrooms, tiny fairy silhouettes, and charming cottages tucked into tree stumps and mushroom caps. Scattered acorns, ferns, oak leaves, feathers, butterflies, luna moths, timber signposts and glowing lanterns complete the storybook scene in a gentle palette of woodland greens, warm browns, soft aqua and cheerful red.
This fairy mushroom fabric is a lovely choice for children's quilts, nursery bedding and cot quilts, storybook-themed patchwork projects, tote bags, dress-up capes and pinafores. The busy, small-scale print also works beautifully for fussy cutting, applique, panel borders and craft sewing such as bunting, pouches and pincushions.
