Moda Fabrics - Garden Notes by Kathy Schmitz

Bring a touch of the cottage garden to your next project with this charming print from the Garden Notes collection by Kathy Schmitz for Moda Fabrics. Delicate bumblebees, drawn in Kathy’s signature hand-sketched style, sit at the centre of curling vines of soft green oak leaves, dusty blue buds and tiny golden sprigs. The trailing vines form gentle oval frames across a warm cream background, creating an elegant all-over pattern that feels both vintage and fresh.

Kathy Schmitz is loved by quilters and stitchers for her heirloom-inspired designs, and this bee fabric captures that timeless quality beautifully. The muted colour palette of sage green, slate blue and honey yellow gives it a soft, antique feel, making it a lovely choice for traditional quilts, reproduction-style projects and country-inspired décor.

This premium Moda quilting cotton is ideal for patchwork, quilt blocks, backgrounds and borders, as well as table runners, cushions, wall hangings, tote bags and small sewing projects. It’s a wonderful pick for anyone who loves botanical fabrics, garden-themed quilts or a little buzzing bee charm in their sewing room.
