Warm golden ochre sets the scene for this charming print from the Enchantment collection by Sweetfire Road for Moda Fabrics. Delicate acorn and berry sprigs are tossed evenly across the mustard ground, each little cluster gathering soft cream and grey caps with inky navy berries and slender olive-green leaves. The scale is small and the spacing generous, giving the design a quiet, storybook quality that reads almost as a textured blender from a distance.
This honeyed autumn tone is a wonderful companion to navy, forest green, cream and warm neutrals, making it a versatile choice for woodland-themed quilts, seasonal table runners and cosy patchwork throws. The tiny motifs cut beautifully into small pieces, so it works just as well in scrappy blocks, English paper piecing and half-square triangles as it does in larger borders and backings.
Printed on premium quilting cotton, this fabric offers a smooth, durable finish that is easy to cut, piece and quilt. It is equally suited to bag making, soft furnishings, dolls' clothing, pouches and other small sewing projects where a warm, vintage-inspired print is called for.
