Details
Honour the service and sacrifice of Australia's Vietnam veterans with the Remembering Vietnam Panel from Kennard & Kennard. This quilt panel brings together powerful imagery from the Vietnam War, 1962 to 1975, making it a meaningful centrepiece for a memorial quilt, wall hanging or commemorative gift.
The design features the Rising Sun badge and the title "Remembering The Vietnam War" against a moody sepia sky, with an Iroquois helicopter flying overhead. A bronze statue of three soldiers stands framed at the centre, and an armoured personnel carrier crosses the foreground. A field of vivid red poppies runs across the panel, set beside the familiar lines of the Ode of Remembrance. The words "Honouring Our Vietnam Veterans" and "We Will Remember Them" finish the design with a simple cross, giving it a respectful, heartfelt feel.
Measuring 89cm x 108cm (35" x 42"), this Vietnam War fabric panel is well sized for a lap quilt, a Quilt of Valour, or a framed wall hanging for an RSL club, veterans' group or family home.
