Impressions Moire II by Clothworks is a soft sage green tone-on-tone blender with a fluid moire pattern. Lighter swirls and brushstroke textures ripple across a muted green background and give the fabric gentle movement and depth, much like watered silk or marbled paper. From a distance it reads as a near-solid, and up close the subtle detail keeps it more interesting than a plain fabric.
This quilting cotton works well as a background, sashing, or border fabric, and its tonal look blends easily with florals, botanicals, and larger-scale prints. It suits nature-inspired quilts, scrappy projects, and landscape or art quilts where a watery or grassy texture is wanted. Quilters often keep a good blender like this on hand to settle busy blocks and connect a palette.
It is also a lovely choice for cushions, table runners, bags, pouches, and other home décor and sewing projects that call for a fresh, calm green.
