Robert Kaufman Fusions Brushwork in Shell is a soft, painterly blender fabric featuring layered brushstroke textures in warm shell brown, cream, muted pink, pale blue and earthy olive tones. Its abstract design gives the look of hand-painted movement, making it a versatile choice for modern quilts, art quilts, feature blocks, borders, appliqué and fabric stash building.
The gentle neutral palette works beautifully with florals, batiks, reproduction prints and contemporary quilting fabrics, adding depth without overpowering your project. Use it as a textured blender, a subtle background, or a soft contrast fabric in patchwork designs.
Priced per 25cm. To order 1 meter, select a quantity of 4. Fabric will be cut in a continuous length.

While we do everything possible to ensure the colours shown on our website are a true representation of each product, several factors can cause the shade you see on-screen to differ from the actual fabric:
- Device displays – Brightness, contrast, colour temperature, and individual screen calibration vary across phones, tablets, laptops, and monitors.
- Photography & lighting – Studio lighting, camera settings, and post-production adjustments can subtly alter how colours appear in images.
- Dye-lot variation – Minor shade differences can occur between production runs of the same fabric, a standard characteristic of textile manufacturing.
- Ambient lighting – Natural daylight, fluorescent, and LED lighting each effect colour perception in person.
For projects where an exact colour match is essential, we strongly recommend purchasing a 25cm tester before buying in bulk. Please note that returns or exchanges cannot be accepted solely on the basis of colour discrepancies between your screen and the delivered product.
We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns for change-of-mind purchases. Read our full Refund Policy.
